In today’s episode, our emphasis is on how God is our comfort and encouragement. God is our comfort in times of need and whatever the circumstance may be we know God is faithful. Isaiah 41:10 says So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
God’s words can bring encouragement to us and also teaches us to encourage one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
In the midst of our struggles and times of discouragement it is important that we remember our struggles are not against flesh and blood as Ephesians 6:12 says For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
