Sometimes we can’t do it on our own and we need the help of others. I don’t know about you but most times we all think we can do everything ourselves. I know I get like that sometimes when people offer to help I just say thank you but I think I can handle it myself. When I probably should have accepted the help. I guess one of my problems is I don’t know how to let others help. A friend once told me that most people just want to do a little something just to show they care.
So when my cancer came back a couple of years ago my friend told me that one way I could let others help me would be to just let them drive me to a doctor’s appointment. Sometimes we have to help people help us so we can let them be a giver too. Because people want to help but they don’t always know how or what we need.
